Description

Water and waste water treatment plant and system operators manage a system of machines, often through use of control boards, to transfer or treat water or waste water. Waste water treatment plant operators’ control, monitor, and maintain the equipment and treatment processes in waste water(sewage) treatment plants. They remove or neutralize the chemicals, solid materials and organisms in waste water so that the water is not polluted when it is returned to the environment. Waste water treatment plant operators run the equipment and control the processes that clean treat water and water waste at treatment plants.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS N1-N3

Grade 10 with no Mathematics and Physical Science

Course duration

9 months of theoretical studies

Promotion

On successful completion, the learners will receive a N1, N2, N3 Foundation Level Certificate and this will allow progression to N4-N6 qualification.
