Description

Electrical engineering is often associated with power generation and distribution of power. Power generation involves the generation of electrical power from a variety of sources: hydro-electrical, thermal coal power, nuclear, as well as renewable sources of power such as solar and wind power. Distribution involves transmission lines and sub-stations that are used to distribute electrical energy for power, heating, lighting, other uses.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS N1-N3

Grade 10 with no Mathematics and Physical Science.

Course duration

9 months of theoretical studies

Promotion

On successful completion, the learner will receive a N1, N2, N3 Foundation Level Certificate and this will allow progression to the N4-N6 qualification
