

This Qualification reflects workplace-based needs in the wider Freight Handling Industry, both now and for the future. Freight Handling is diverse in its nature, so a fairly wide range of competencies are required by employees. The Qualification aims to provide the foundational and initial skills required for an individual in the industry to handle freight successfully; be an effective team member and undertake those tasks required to contribute to the effective processing of freight. This qualification also prepares learners to operate as a Freight handler who receives, allocates stores, picks, reconciles and dispatches freight through a storage facility.

The Civil Engineering programme will enable learners to become involved in the design, construction and maintenance of the building environment. Examples of Civil Engineers’ work include bridges, roads, canals, dams, and buildings. Civil Engineering is about maintaining and improving the would around us and increasing the quality of life for present and future generations.

The National Certificates N4-N6 in Tourism is accredited by the Department of Higher Education and Training and Quality assured. This programme aims to equip learners with the necessary knowledge and skills for a career in tourism with the focus on the travel sector. Upon completion of the 18-month theoretical component, students must complete an 18-month practical component by working in the tourism industry. This ensures that students are well prepared to face the world of work as an employee in the tourism industry.
