Far-Infrared Bacteria Rings are specifically structured and manufactured using materials that possess the ability to radiate small amounts of far-infrared rays. This technology can effectively kill harmful bacteria in water as the water column flows over and through the rings in the filter. The rings are structured with a porous matrix ensuring high level contact with close to 100% of the aquarium water column per filter cycle. The combination between the rings material makeup and the matrix can also remove ammonia, nitrite, sulfurated hydrogen, and heavy metals from the water.

The inclusion of Far-Infrared Bacteria Rings in a filter alongside other mechanical and biological filtration media has been shown to significantly increase the filters ability to prevent the growth of mold, algae and helps stabilise pH levels.

Far-Infrared Bacteria Rings are also rich in many minerals and micro-elements that are beneficial to the health of aquatic life in the aquarium.

DIRECTIONS Rinse before use. Place directly in a filter or sump. The rings can be positioned in any order eg. before, between or after other filter media whether mechanical or bacterial.

Replace every 6 months. Wash periodically to remove accumulated debris.
