The Ladder Shoulder Harness is the latest suspension system for our mainstay packs, serving as a replacement part or an upgrade for those with the old style. The harness uses a robust hook-and-loop center panel, allowing you to quickly adjust the pack's fit in incremental steps.
The harness now features more comfortable air-mesh padding and a fully adjustable sternum strap that evenly distributes weight, cushions, and reduces rubbing during long days in the field. The Ladder Shoulder Harness provides enough support to manage heavy loads while still allowing natural shoulder articulation, and its integrated adjustment points let you fine-tune ride height and tension so the pack stays properly positioned against your body.
When paired with a hip belt, the Ladder Shoulder Harness works as part of a complete suspension system that stabilizes the pack, improves load transfer, and maintains comfort when packing heavy.
The Ladder Shoulder Harness is backward-compatible with all our legacy packs that use the same harness style and comes with all our new ladder harness pack systems.
