Motion Note: We recommend Venom Cannibals in either 76a or 78a (purple or red core) if you're looking for a grippy downhill race wheel, and the 83a (blue core) for if you're looking for more of a fast freeride wheel. If you aren't quite sure what to get, can't go wrong with the 80a (green core). The wheel's shape is designed to grip hard, but the lips are well supported to hold it's shape in a drift. The core is closer to the center to give better wear characteristics. These longboard wheels grip harder than most wheels out there, while still maintaining smooth and controllable slides for race situations, making these some of the best downhill wheels out there.
