Rug from the Taznakht region in Morocco, circa 2002. Features a sun-faded brown field, adorned with 3 traditional Amazigh motifs in the centre, woven into the piece to bring luck and abundance to its maker.
Amazigh rugs are originally handmade by Amazigh women, who have learnt the skill of weaving from their mothers and grandmothers. Each piece is unique and carries the personal story of its weaver.
