Usage Guidelines:

Attach the Zoo Med ReptiTherm Under Tank Heater to either the far left or right side of the terrarium to establish a thermal gradient. Ensure the heater spans about half of the terrarium floor and is sufficient to cover your reptile’s full body length.

This heat mat performs optimally with a substrate layer less than 2 inches thick. For enclosures with deeper substrate, consider an overhead heating solution like a halogen basking bulb or a ceramic heat emitter, based on your specific needs.
